As a SoftwareEngineer II, you will be responsible for solving our mostchallenging problems along with a highly-motivated team.In thisrole, you will work closely with other engineers across multipleteams to provide high-quality, scalable, and innovative products.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include partnering with otherengineers to design, develop, and deliver new features.As yourskills grow so will the size and scope of the projects which you’llbe involved in. Key Role Responsibilities : - Build and maintainnew innovative product features focused on actively learning newareas of the product - Collaborate with owners for differentproduct features to gain insight and offer constructive suggestionsfor improvements - Be an active participant in design / architecturediscussions sharing your ideas while building the next generationof features for the Sezzle platform - Hands-on with our codebaseand a contributor to code reviews - Mentor other engineers who arestarting along their career path - Work with the team tocontinuously build and deploy scalable solutions - Assist inplanning, estimations, and completion for projects brought up bythe team stakeholders Minimum Requirements : - Experience solvingtechnical problems as part of a team - Bachelor's in computerscience (preferred) or equivalent related experience - Familiaritywith modern Frontend Development, with React experience preferred -Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go orsimilar compiled statically typed language - Intermediateunderstanding of relational databases like MySQL PreferredKnowledge and Skills : - Knowledgeable in writing automated testsfor applications (unit, integration, end-to-end) - Familiar withthe basic principles and design of RESTful APIs - Basic knowledgeof a Microservice Architecture - Close familiarity with softwareengineering tools, software development methodology, and releaseprocesses Equal Employment Opportunity : Sezzle Inc.is an equalopportunity employer.
