Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, manage and optimize endpoint protection solutions (EDR, local privilege management) across desktops, laptops, mobile devices and servers
• Investigate and respond to SOC alerts, performing initial triage, analysis and containment of security incidents
• Track, prioritize and drive the remediation of vulnerabilities found through scans, penetration tests or threat intelligence, working with the relevant teams
• Monitor security systems and networks for unusual behavior and put preventive measures in place
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify weaknesses
• Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, regulations and internal guidelines
• Collaborate with other IT teams (network, systems, development) to integrate security solutions into the overall infrastructure
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, vulnerabilities and technologies
• Take part in the on-call rotation and respond to critical security incidents

Requisitos

• Proven experience as an IT Security Engineer, Endpoint Security Engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of security concepts, protocols and best practices
• Hands-on experience with endpoint protection (EPP) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
• Experience with SIEM systems and incident response processes
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking and cloud platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
