Responsabilidades
🤓As a Director of Operations, the company expects you to perform the following tasks:
Finance & Business Operations
- Own budget, spend tracking, forecasting, runway management, and financial reporting cadence.
- Partner with accounting and tax vendors to ensure clean monthly closes and strong financial hygiene.
- Build models that connect GTM activity to revenue outcomes.
Company Operating System & Execution Cadence
- Build and run the weekly company leadership cadence: priorities, owners, timelines, metrics, and follow-through.
- Drive cross-functional planning and execution across Sales, CS, Product, and Marketing.
- Create clear decision-making processes so work does not stall in ambiguity.
Compliance, Regulatory, and Risk Readiness
- Own the company’s compliance and regulatory readiness workstreams and keep a clear risk register.
- Ensure operational controls, vendor processes, and documentation are sufficient for growth and future enterprise or partner requirements.
- Marketing Leadership (early-stage, execution-heavy)
- Directly manage Marketing and ensure marketing priorities tie to growth outcomes (pipeline, conversion, trust, retention).
- Coordinate marketing experiments with Sales and CS and track results with clear dashboards.
Commercial + Product Bridge
- Ensure customer feedback loops are captured and translated into product and commercial actions.
- Improve handoffs, training, and internal tooling so Sales and CS can keep up with product changes.
- People Ops, Recruiting, and Team Leadership
- Directly manage marketing, recruiting, and future operations team members, with weekly 1:1s, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Own hiring execution for business functions, including role definition, scorecards, interview process, and closing.
- - Build lightweight onboarding, documentation, and operating procedures that scale as headcount grows.
Requisitos
✨You are the person they are looking for if you have:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance (or a closely related field). MBA a strong plus.
- 7+ years of experience in operations, finance ops, business operations, strategy & ops, chief-of-staff, or COO-style roles, ideally in early-stage or growth startups.
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of building systems that actually get used.
- Demonstrated ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and operating cadence.
- Strong cross-functional leadership: able to drive outcomes across teams without creating bureaucracy.
- Experience managing and developing a small team.
- Experience in regulated or high-trust domains (healthcare, fintech, payments), or experience building compliance readiness from scratch.
- Strong written communication and comfort operating as the “source of truth” for company priorities and metrics.
