Responsibilities
🤓 As Staff Full Stack Engineer, the company expects you to perform the following tasks:
This role is a balance of hands-on engineering leadership and deep technical contribution. You'll manage a team of engineers while also committing meaningful code yourself — a perfect fit for someone who loves both leading people and building system
- Leading and managing a team of engineers — running standups, code reviews, and sprint planning
- Reviewing and merging PRs, maintaining code quality and engineering best practices across the team
- Jumping into deep technical work yourself: building and maintaining queues, integrations (including EMR compatibility), and infrastructure with Terraform on AWS
- Building and scaling features across our React + Node.js + PostgreSQL + AWS stack
- Contributing directly to our mobile apps (React Native, iOS, Android) and web application as needed
- Designing frontend components using Next.js and Tailwind CSS that present extracted patient data cleanly and intuitively
- Enhancing backend workflows to support new product features and data routing
- Collaborating closely with the founding team to execute the product roadmap
- Using redacted and synthetic data during development — we handle compliance so you can focus on engineering
Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated leadership of engineering teams
- Comfortable reviewing and merging pull requests and maintaining high code quality standards across the team
- Experience running and managing a team of engineers — setting priorities, unblocking teammates, and driving delivery
- Able to jump in and commit your own excellent code across the frontend and backend when needed
- Deep technical comfort with systems-level work: message queues, EMR compatibility, deep third-party integrations, and complex online workstreams
- Strong experience with Terraform and managing an advanced infrastructure stack across AWS
- Expert-level knowledge of our stack: React (web + mobile), React Native or native iOS/Android, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS
- Excited to work with an AI-enabled stack and build great software alongside a highly technical team
- Able to work in US time zones
- English proficiency required
- Not eligible for other concurrent employment while at Lime AI
- Bonus: Prior experience in healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environments
