Responsibilities
🤓 As a Founding Engineer, the company expects you to perform the following tasks
- Work directly with the founder to architect and ship features across the full stack using TypeScript, tRPC, Next.js, Docker, and Traefik
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure features focused on reliability, observability, high availability, and incident response
- Own and improve deployment pipelines and background job infrastructure using BullMQ and Redis
- Build enterprise-grade capabilities such as RBAC, audit logging, SSO/SAML integrations, and compliance tooling
- Lead Kubernetes support initiatives, including cluster deployment and orchestration strategies for enterprise customers
- Contribute to internal engineering standards and write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Support customers directly by joining sales calls and assisting with technical troubleshooting when needed
- Collaborate with the community through Discord and developer forums to ensure a strong developer experience
- Help shape developer relations and strengthen the open-source ecosystem around the product
Requirements
✨ You are the person they are looking for if you have...
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Golang
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and Docker Compose
- Experience building authentication and security features for multi-tenant systems
- Strong understanding of platform reliability, distributed systems, and infrastructure tooling
- Experience working with Redis, queues, deployment pipelines, and observability tooling
- Comfort interacting directly with customers and developer communities
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Residency in Central or South America
🌟 They’ll be especially excited if you also have...
- Prior contributions to open-source projects, including merged PRs, active OSS participation, or personal projects with GitHub traction
- Experience with infrastructure/devtools open-source platforms such as Coolify, CapRover, Portainer, or similar tools
- Understanding of OSS community dynamics, contributor management, and balancing open-source vs proprietary features
- Previous experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or developer infrastructure products
