Backend Developer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, the company expects you to:

• Build, own, and operate full features from design through deployment.
• Develop robust backend services and intuitive, high-quality UIs for web and native applications.
• Work closely with design and product to deliver consistent, user-centric experiences.
• Improve engineering patterns, reliability, performance, and developer experience across the stack.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to peers across backend disciplines.
• Advocate for engineering excellence, maintainability, and scalability in all
• areas of the product.

✨You are the person they are looking for if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ YoE in Backend Development with a proven track record in demonstrating skills in large-scale software development and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in at-least one modern programming language, such as C#, Java/Kotlin, JS/Typescript, Haskell, etc. 
• Competency in both Relational and NoSQL database, with experience working and supporting such systems in a production environment.
• Experience with at-least one major cloud provider Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar.
• Verifiable experience with Sage Intacct.

• Experience working in large-scale systems, with a proven track record of managing and leading the development of complex, high-traffic backend systems.
• Experience in leading small to medium sized engineering teams, with experience mentoring and growing less experience engineers.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD is a plus.
• Experience working with C# and ASP.NET is a plus
• Experience working in logistics or transportation systems is a plus.
