Malware Analyst

🤓 As Malware Analyst, the company expects you to perform the following tasks.

• Malware Analysis: Examine and reverse engineer various types of malware, including viruses, worms, trojans, and ransomware,to understand their functionality and impact.
• Threat Research: Stay updated on the latest malware trends and threat intelligence to anticipate and mitigate potential threats.
• Incident Response: Collaborate with the incident response team to analyze and respond to security incidents involving malware.
• Tool Development: Develop custom scripts and tools to automate the malware analysis process.
• Reporting: Create detailed technical reports based on the analysis of malware and other cyber threats, and present findings toboth technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work with other cybersecurity professionals to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
• Documentation: Maintain a database of identified malware and document analysis procedures and findings.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GREM are preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in malware analysis, reverse engineering, and incident response.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of malware analysis tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, or Assembly.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
