Responsabilidades
- Work with the Delivery Manager and client to understand the workflow, inspect real examples, and clarify what the application needs to do. The Delivery Manager owns the business problem, scope, and success criteria; you own the technical solution and implementation.
- Build working versions early to test assumptions, run demos with the client, and improve the application from feedback.
- Take applications into production on real client data. Agree milestones and delivery tradeoffs with the Delivery Manager, and raise scope or timeline changes before making new commitments.
- Own testing, debugging, production fixes, and ongoing improvements. Handle incomplete inputs and errors, and make failures visible and recoverable.
- Reuse existing components where they fit, and bring recurring client needs back to the core engineering team.
- Work directly with operators and executives on site. Explain technical choices clearly and raise blockers with a diagnosis and proposed next step.
Requisitos
- 4+ years building and delivering production software, with real ownership of outcomes.
- Fluent in TypeScript, with practical React, Node.js, API, and database experience. You can build and debug an application across the frontend, backend, and database.
- Practical Python and SQL experience for integrations, data processing, and AI workflows.
- Demonstrated experience with agentic systems. You can show what you have built or used, explain where it failed, and describe how you fixed it. You use coding agents, verify generated code, and can explain and debug what you deliver.
- Strong implementation judgment. You can turn an incomplete client brief into working software, choose what to build first, and ask focused questions when something is unclear.
- You make practical implementation decisions without waiting for every requirement to become a detailed engineering ticket. Keep code simple, readable, and easy to change.
- NYC-based and happy to travel to customer sites.
