Responsibilities

As Backend Engineer, the company expects you to perform the following tasks:

Service Ownership: Design and scale Go/Python microservices and high-performance MongoDB data models.
API & Integration: Build public/internal APIs and integrate LLM-powered features and analytics.
Operations: Manage AWS/GCP deployments with a focus on observability (metrics/tracing), security, and cost-efficiency.
Full Lifecycle: Drive features from design to delivery via CI/CD automation and cross-functional collaboration.

You are the person they are looking for if you have:

Engineering Core: 4+ years of backend experience, proficient in Go and/or Python for production services.
Database Mastery: Expert-level MongoDB (modeling, performance tuning, and transactions).
Infrastructure: Deep knowledge of microservices, API design (REST/Websockets), and cloud orchestration (Docker, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes).
Operational Excellence: Strong background in CI/CD, testing, and full-stack observability (metrics, tracing, alerting).
Security & Mindset: Security-first development (secrets/threat mitigation) paired with a product-driven, pragmatic approach.
Communication: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
