Technical Lead Manager

🤓 As a Tech Lead, the company expects you to perform the following tasks:

• Align team initiatives with company and departmental OKRs to drive strategic goals.
• Identify and implement process improvements that boost team efficiency and engineering productivity.
• Collaborate effectively with Product, Design, Data, and Business teams to ensure alignment between technical execution and business needs.
• Promote clear communication, transparency, and continuous feedback within the team and with leadership.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, trust, and psychological safety, prioritizing team well-being and growth.
• Empower team members through delegation and autonomy, encouraging leadership at all levels.
• Co-define technical strategy with Leads, balancing long-term vision with technical debt trade-offs.
• Encourage technical learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Ensure high engineering standards while balancing technical and business constraints.
• Lead sprint and roadmap planning with accurate estimation and prioritization.
• Optimize workflows by addressing bottlenecks and advocating for effective tools and practices.
• Promote delivery of small, testable, and value-driven increments to enable fast iteration and feedback.

✨ You are the person we’re looking for if you have…

• 5+ years in software engineering roles.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams, ideally in a scaling or high-growth environment.
• Strong technical background with the ability to lead architecture discussions, ensure code quality, and promote best practices.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows, CI/CD practices, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and agile methodologies.
• Comfortable working with Jira, GitHub, and modern SDLC tools.
• Strong technical documentation and a habit of sharing knowledge across teams.
• Familiarity with our tech stack: Backend/APIs: Java (Spring), Python, Go Frontend: JavaScript, Angular, React Cloud: AWS (ECS, Lambda), GCP (BigQuery, Pub/Sub) Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB API & Integration: GraphQL CI/CD: Pulumi, Jenkins, CodeMagic Observability: DataDog
• Proven track record of leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Strong foundation in people leadership: 1:1s, performance management, coaching, and career development.
