Data Engineer

🤓 As a Data Engineer, the company expects you to perform the following tasks:

• Software Development and Architecture: Write code using at least one programming paradigm, designing basic data pipelines with an awareness of overall service architecture, avoiding duplication across codebases and pipeline-breaking changes. Works semi-autonomously and proficiently in a specific data stack.Develop top-level structure and organization of the pipelines and identifies the various components for data architecture. 
• Project Impact and Responsibility: Participates in the design and deployment of data pipelines projects. Create useful views in reports.
• Stakeholder  Communication: Utilizes this knowledge to ask Senior Engineers,  Leaders or stakeholders for help on making decisions that may have security implications. 
• Continuous Improvement and operation:Identify semi-autonomously when there is a need to refactor a specific data pipeline.
• Other duties as assigned.

✨ You are the person they are looking for if you have....

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (desired).
• 2 years of working experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer (startup or healthcare background desired).
• 2 years of experience in a programming language such as Typescript (desired), Python or C#.
• 2 years of experience with relational and non-relational databases
• 2 years of experience working with a Cloud provider (preferably AWS using services such as S3, Lambdas, Step)
• Functions, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Redis, etc).
• 2 years of experience working with version control systems such as git. Ability to use Github Actions.
• Experience with Development Kit (CDK) for deploying cloud infrastructure. 
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Zoho Analytics preferred), and tools such as Excel and Google Sheets (advance level required).
• Self-driven, autonomy, teamwork and strategic mindset.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
