Leandro Ismael Rojas 👋

Hey, I'm Leandro — a data engineer with 5+ years of experience working mostly with Azure, Databricks, Python, and SQL. Most of my work has been around building and maintaining data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and data quality systems across healthcare, automotive, and consulting projects. I've worked on everything from migrating legacy systems and orchestrating pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Synapse, to designing multi-layered dataflows (raw → silver → gold) and building reusable frameworks that other teams could plug into. Lately I've been spending a lot of time with Delta Lake and PySpark, and learning more about how AI tooling fits into day-to-day data work. I enjoy the technical side of the job, but also the parts that aren't strictly code — mentoring teammates, running interviews, leading small teams, and figuring out how to make things easier for the people using the data downstream.
